Preliminary Memorandum of Advice

Experience has shown that many clients like to have an initial understanding of why they need International estate planning and how this can best be achieved. Lea & White has invented the concept of a Preliminary Memorandum of Advice to meet the needs and wishes of clients in these respects.

We collect information about the client’s family members, about the client’s assets and about the client’s objectives. We can then prepare for, provide to and discuss with the client a Preliminary Memorandum of Advice, which sets out the facts, provides a tailor-made solution for the client and explains why the solution meets the clients’ wishes and needs.

We do this at a very reasonable fee, which is deductible from the further fees, if the client wishes to proceed. This method provides a valuable platform for the client’s initial understanding and from which the international estate planning can be carried out.
