We embrace the following core values
to achieve what
you want and need

Positive Attitude

We listen carefully to you to understand what you need and want and to determine the approach to achieve this.

Forward Planning

It is frequently better or even essential for a client to take advice well in advance of, for example, moving tax residence, changing domicile or nationality or structuring the purchase of an asset or business and the on-going control of them.

Flexibility to Meet Change

In the ever changing and ever more chaotic world we live in, the solutions for international estate planning need to be flexible to meet change, we can arrange solutions to provide for this so that one or more pieces of the jigsaw of international estate planning can be moved or change as necessary.

Review and Forward Thinking

Because of the nature of the solutions, the changes in laws and regulations, changes of location of family members and assets and the impact of political and economic turmoil, it is essential to carry out a detailed review of solutions at least annually. The review needs to take into account probable forward planning and necessary forward thinking accordingly.

Checks and Balances

Coupled with the flexibility needed, it is wise that solutions should also provide for on-going checks and balances to seek to ensure that decisions are always made in the best interests of those concerned. This often means that a Protector, Enforcer or Supervisory Person needs to be involved in the solution to provide prior permission or to receive notice of some intended action. If necessary and appropriate, we can provide our independence and experience to be any of those persons.

Detailed Approach

We have over 50 years of legal and tax experience to enable us to consider the requirements to achieve a tailor-made solution for you using combinations of trusts, foundations, companies, partnerships, funds and wills as appropriate for you.

Experienced Advice

Our advice is comparative of jurisdictions to achieve the best for you. We frequently provide a Preliminary Memorandum of Advice to set out clearly the persons, the assets, the objectives and the solution to discuss this with you. We then provide the detailed advice needed to achieve the solution for you.

Certainty of Achievement

The whole exercise shows our commitment to achieve the tailor-made solution which is best for you to achieve what you need and want.
